There was a night Tim's whole world was a sleeping bag and a dog who wouldn't leave his side. There was no plan B, so he built plan A: learn one thing so well it couldn't fail him. That thing was reading candles.

Years later he's on a hillside in the Chapada Diamantina, one of the most beautiful national parks on earth, watching his own house rise out of the ground. Every wall paid for by the same mechanical setups he now calls out loud, live, to the crew.
